We are proud to announce that we have been named in the Elite Franchise Top 100 franchise opportunities in the UK list (EF100). Judged against hundreds of entries from across multiple sectors, Wilkins Chimney Sweep has been ranked as 90th, a position we will hold for the duration of 2021.
The EF100, established in 2017 in association with HSBC, is a list of the top 100 franchises ranked by their financial performance, heritage, contribution to the community and the way they embrace innovation.
The franchise industry contributes over £17billion to the UK economy and more than 700,000 people are employed in franchising across the country. Despite a difficult economic climate, the last 12 months have seen franchise brands like Wilkins survive and thrive thanks to our robust infrastructure and proven business model.
Wilkins Chimney Sweep is part of Darren Taylor’s ever-expanding Taylor Made Franchising Group, which also owns franchise operations Stumpbusters, PVC Vendo and Thomas Cleaning Franchise.

One of our proudest moments in 2020 was when Keiron Harding, who took voluntary redundancy during the first lockdown, brought a Wilkins franchise through our ‘No Money Down’ offer. After rigorous training, sweeping over 100 chimneys alongside our experienced staff, Keiron he took £6,000 in his first month of trading and is in the process of building a highly successful, profitable business, to support him and his young family.
